Before the meeting, the discussion leader should become familiar with these additional resources (and add one of their own) to explain and show to the other members.

Your sixth online meeting is all about applying everything you have learnt thus far in order to advance your project even more.

-
You have received information regarding the process of planning projects and you have seen several projects that can inspire you. You have also discussed and debated topics and knowledge that your students will need for future jobs and life in general. Now you will try to integrate as much of this as you can into your projects.
-
First, have a quick round: each member provides their key ideas from the discussions regarding the projects and Mont & Masats' chapter (no repetitions). The scribe should make a list of these points.
-
Now, have a second quick round: each member gives another key point that they think your group should bear in mind while designing your project (no repetitions). The scribe should make a list of these points.
-
Go over your ideas and suggestions for projects from your brainstorming googledoc and decide as a group which ideas you want to add to your own project.
-
Now, following your own advice (key points), continue filling in the project template. In particular, make sure you have the main idea of the project, the principal outcome(s), and outlines of each session, including key learning objectives for each session.
-
As you go along, different members of the group should try to distance themselves from the project to see it as an 'external evaluator' - what's missing? are the activities coherent to the main objectives? are learning goals achievable? are the activities motivating? do they require true collaborative learning? etc.?

Don't forget to choose your leader and scribe for the next meeting. The scribe should make sure the latest draft is in the group folder and upload the minutes and evidence from this meeting (including the discussion about resources).
