Sònia Darbra Marges, PhD currently teaches in the Department of Psychobiology and Methodology of Health Sciences at the Faculty of Psychology of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She is a member of the research group Neurosteroids and Behavior, where she has focused her research on the importance of neurosteroid levels for the proper development of the SNC and its functioning. She has also adapted her expertise to other educational fields such as research with people with special needs. She is a member of the UAB ethics board.

Dr Júlia Llompart is a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer in the Department of Didactics of Language, Literature and Social Sciences at the UAB. She is the principal investigator of the CULT project (Constructing a collaborative understanding of learning and teaching for the 21st century, funded by the Ministry of Innovation and Science). She is a member of the research group GREIP (Research Group on Education, Interactions and plurilingualism). Her research focuses on the study of plurilingual education and practices, teacher training in plurilingualism, collaborative and participatory ethnography and action research, and the dynamics of intergenerational language transmission.
